Katie Ridder Rooms: Interior Design Book Review
I have a new interior design hero and her name is Katie Ridder who’s just come out with a new book, Katie Ridder Rooms. This is a lush book packed with photos and advice that’s practical and yet like nothing you’ve ever seen before. The first thing that pops his her elegant use of color. It’s both exuberant and restrained. The next thing you’ll notice while perusing the gorgeous and plentiful pictures of her new book is how she mixes styles, high and low end, periods and ethnic influences. Yet somehow the effect isn’t “eclectic” it’s just… marvelous. Yes, marvelous. I know that’s an old fashioned word, but it conjures images of glamor, refinement and drama and that’s exactly what you’ll find in Katie’s new book. I highly recommend it!! But don’t take my word for it. Here’s a preview of some of Katie’s Rooms.
Look, I literally had to scream STOP while trying to choose photos to showcase because with very few exceptions, I absolutely adore each and every one of her rooms. I think she is amazing. To see more, you’ll have to check out her book This is design porn at its best. I gotta go cool down.
